A striped skunk is a natural subject for folding from duo paper, but most origami skunks have only a single stripe. The American striped skunk has two stripes, so I designed this figure to have two. There were no folded reference points for many of the key steps—a phenomenon that reappeared years later with the advent of computer-aided origami design.
